This robust, low-maintenance multipurpose chair can be linked with or without armrests. However, it is unusual in that it also allows both versions to be combined.

Highly configurable, “Sento” is ideal for use in a variety of situations. For example, electronic or magnetic row and seat numbers can be added. The chairs can be linked together without the use of tools. Writing tablets can be attached (once again with no need for tools) and special floor anchors help to prevent the chairs tipping over. To ensure greater comfort and safety, various seat depths are available along with a wide choice of materials including fireproof and fire-retardant types.

With their classic lines and understated design, “Sento” chairs are an attractive addition to any large hall. The “darmstadtium”*, one of many “Sento” references, is a particularly impressive example.

The DHDG also offers the “Sento bench” to complement its versatile “Sento” chairs. Another multipurpose product, it is particularly suitable for use in large waiting areas, e.g. in airports. “Sento bench” is available in a 2, 3, 4 or even a generously-sized 5-seater design. The fact that the benches can be combined with centre or side tables means they offer a wide range of configuration options, all with the same tidy appearance.


*“darmstadtium”:
The darmstadtium event centre in Darmstadt is famous far beyond the state border. Covering around 18,000 square metres, the multifunctional, avant-garde style building is the ideal venue for congresses, conferences, company presentations, seminars, workshops, receptions, cultural and concert events, annual general meetings and trade fairs. Its operators were therefore very demanding when selecting the seating. For example, versatile, multipurpose chairs which can adapt quickly to a specific situation but at the same time fit in with the prestigious building and its bold architecture were needed. Over 3,000 “Sento” models in various versions are now in use at this magnificent venue.
