The new "TakeOver" chair from Dauphin is now setting a further milestone among the new ranges of chairs with "intelligent" capabilities.

For instance, the "TakeOver" range includes the patented Syncro-Dynamic® mechanism with its automatic weight compensation for a permanently balanced posture while sitting to keep the user perfectly upright. This means that the seat and backrest follow the movements of the user in synchronisation to guarantee the correct body angle at all times. Once the chair has been adjusted to the individual body weight the constant pressure of the backrest ensures a balanced posture during all movements and relieves the monotony of seating dreaded by many users.

A totally new thinking feature is the innovative, automatic seat-depth regulation, the so-called Auto-Glide-System. Thanks to this feature, it is possible for the first time for the seat depth to adapt automatically to the individual requirements of large and small people within the synchronised movement process. This means that the chair automatically ensures optimum support for the thighs in any seated posture.

The "TakeOver" range, developed by Manfred Elzenbeck, Klaus Haar and the Dauphin-Designteam, comprises an executive swivel chair, a conference swivel chair and a cantilever chair in a "family design". All three models are available with mesh backrests or in fully-upholstered versions.

Even in the mesh version, the backrest of the "TakeOver" chair is height-adjustable. This is a rare and ergonomically sensible feature. It can easily be adjusted while sitting to the size of the particular user.

The new and innovative design of the "TakeOver" backrest means that you can not only see ergonomics but feel it too. A significant design feature is the high-quality, polished aluminium backrest frame. With its filigree design, "TakeOver" brings lightness into the office and can easily be integrated into existing working environments.

Various fine-adjustment features such as the side-mounted seat-tilt adjustment, multifunctional armrests, height-adjustable and depth-adjustable lumbar support, side-mounted spring-force adjustment, infinite seat-height adjustment and the optional headrest additionally allow the chair to adapt optimally to different working positions.
